Working together works!

Why I love Pintlala Baptist Church -

"I know that my church family cares about me and my family. I can always depend on them for any needs that I may have whether it be prayer, hand holding, support, or just a good laugh. Which leads me to the next thing I love about this church...Gary Burton. I believe that he cares for this church more than any of us can fathom. He loves the Lord and he loves each and every one of us. PBC helps me to find and use my spiritual abilities whether it is inside or outside of this church. I have found a second family that I know I can depend on. This church holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to spending many, many years in the greatest church this side of heaven." -- Dana Davis

"Enjoy your life—it’s later than you think.

“We’ll be happy when …We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get our act together and start enjoying salvation. The truth is there’s no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges. It’s best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyways. Jesus is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with PBC, special enough to spend your time with … and remember that time waits for no one.

So … with our Wednesday night meal, Bible Study and choir practice, Sunday morning Sunday School and then Gary’s morning message, we feel genuine fulfillment at PBC." -- Donn Zolman

"We have cried together, laughed together and we have prayed together and seen the results. It all boils down to—the Lord is in this place and has been since the first day a hand full of people set out to have a church in this place. I can feel His Spirit, I can hear him in the music and the message and I can see Him in your smiling faces. I am thankful for each one of you. You are the reasons I love PBC. I am thankful for Gary Burton. Sunday after Sunday, he brings a message that gives us a better understanding of God, His Word and His plan for us. I am thankful for the music; where could you find better? Some days I have wanted to go outside, stand on the side of the road and tell cars to stop and listen! I love the Youth. They are wonderful. They are doing so many out-reach activities; growing into fine Christian young adults. I love the children. As I rock some of the babies that we have now I can say, “I rocked your mother, and I knew your grandparents.” Joy, happiness, love, peace, friendship, smiles hugs—that's why I love PBC." -- Mary Clyde Meadows
